Secure Web 2.1.31

We are proud to announce the release of Secure Web patch 2.1.31!

We have been working very hard to bring you this latest update and are very proud to finally be able to deliver it to you all. Because of some big internal refactoring, we have decided to jump the version a bit ahead, to signify this milestone!

Starting with this version, both the Administration Interface and Reporting System are available in Italian. Because of growing customer base in Italy, we have taken the time to translate all texts to Italian.

Also per customer-request, we have added a couple of new reports. In the first report, it is possible to see the time a user has spent on a certain domain and the category this domain belongs to. In the second report, we show how much time a user has spent on top-level domains.

Also on customer-request, it is now possible to add a read-only user to the Administration Interface. This user can see all settings, but is not allowed to change any.

Besides these features, we have fixed an issue with a deadlock on too many open files and a problem when trying to upload large certificates or certificate-chains into the reverse proxy.

The problem with the 'Humor' category not being correctly filtered has also been identified and fixed.

Further fixes include problems when setting up a new MySQL database for the Reporting System, automatic cleanup of logs not working and a crash in LDAP authentication.

A very important change is also the update of the security hand-shake between our Application Server and your browser, as well as an update of the Avira license-key.

As always, when updating your Secure Web, it is recommended to update the Secure Web Authentication Service to the latest version as well. The minimum required version of the Secure Web Authentication Service however is still 2.1.14.
