In cooperation with its new partner IBM, CYAN Networks has launched its most recent product - CYAN Secure Web with the IBM Security Content Analysis SDK. Thus, the user can now choose between CYAN Secure Web with integrated the CYAN’s own categorization database or integrated with the IBM Security Content Analysis database.

While the CYAN’s database with its 30 categories mainly focuses on productivity and on the categories that should be blocked, the new product containing the IBM list offers a wider range of categorization. Relaying on its long-term categorization experience, IBM has created one of the world’s largest URL filter databases containing more than 10 billion evaluated Web pages and images that offers to the customers a more extensive differentiation and categorization than the standard database provided by CYAN.

The new IBM Security Content Analysis SDK list with 68 different categories is especially interesting for the companies which need more detailed categorization and which actually need to get a better view into their web usage statistics. The list combined with the modern proxy technology from CYAN Network Security, which supports high availability and load balance technology out of the box, offers an overall, sophisticated web filtering solution.

The IBM Security Content Analysis SDK list is fully integrated into CYAN Secure Web. It is available on our hardware appliance or on the virtual appliance.
